SCENE OPENS on Linda (Krissy Lynn) and her 18-year old step-daughter Sam (Kamryn Jade), who sit together in the living room. The air is somewhat somber as they talk about the man of the house, who has leaving Sam and Linda financially destitute. They are thankful that step Uncle Jerry, the man's step-brother, will be coming to stay with them to help them.
